Man, I REALLY think referee Steve Mazigatti sucked tonite in the match between Dante & Brandon.

1st of all it shouldn't have even gone to a tie-breaking 3rd round (Dante clearly won both Round 1 & 2)

In that final round, he allowed Dante to stay on-top of Brandon doing practically nothing but run down the clock.

Dante did NOT win that fight -- Bullsh*t!!!

    That said, reminds me of the Bispbing vs. Deaf Dude fight in England. The Deaf Dude was robbed.

      Can't remember -- Was Mazigatti the Ref in that match, too???

    the score after 2 rounds has NOTHING to do with the ref...its the judging

      Exactly.

      That said, in some leagues, the ref is one of the judges, and I don't know what the score is there at T.U.F.

        Ummmmmm, I'm well aware of that fact -- Thank You, HOOPS!

        It was just a badly-handled fight on every level -- That's the fault of the ref & the judges.

        Did anyone actually watch it other than me?

          not really....why not blame the fighters??


          I watched it....and if they didnt want it to go three round, someone should have been more proactive. I most certainly dont blame Mazagatti for the outcome....the fighters were the ones not doing anything.

          thats the problem with it going to the scorecards.Its always gonna be a crapshoot when they fight like that

            I watched it and was not impressed by either fighter if they could of they should of put both of them out of the competition. As for the scoring well Brandon did more damage but all he really did was make the best of whatever situation he was in. The thing that Dante did was control where the fight was whether it was on their feet or on the mat. Brandon was able to prevent some takedowns but overall Dante was pretty much free to take the fight where ever he wanted.
            Did you hear what Dana had to say "it's not like I am saying that shit am I glad these two are in the UFC" he was not impressed by either fighter.
